DYRSL Camera Club was formed in August 2007 by a group of people keen to develop and share their photographic knowledge and skills. Our membership ranges from individuals who have just acquired a brand new digital camera, to others who have many years experience with film and or digital and who are keen to share their knowledge.

Acceptance of this concept has been tremendous, with over 60 fully paid up members in a very short time. We are still evolving and aim to provide our members with as much of what they are looking for in their club as possible. Entry is open to all and to all ages; we have members who range from their early twenties, to ‘quite mature’.

We aim to provide a positive environment for members to share their passion for photography and to develop individual photographic skills through presentations, lectures, workshops, competitions and photographically oriented social activities. 

We aim to cultivate and broaden the photographic interests of our members, by exposing them to as wide a mix of styles and mediums as possible, and to provide education, guidance, competition and social interaction.

DYRSL Camera Club will strive to provide a relaxed, informal meeting environment free from any traditional constraints or limitation of photographic style.
