Where and when:
On-site at the Dee Why RSL Club. Check the displays in the foyer to find our room. Wednesday 22 March 2023 from 7.30 PM Scope: The brush tool is the single most suitable photo retouching tool in the Adobe Photoshop repertoire. Whether you want to highlight parts of your image (for instance using dodge and burn), tweak masks, add atmosphere, or fill gaps, the brush is your best friend. Its possible applications are almost endless. We will delve into the inner workings of the tool, explore brush tips and settings. Afterwards, we will create our own custom brush to add fog to a landscape. Finally, we will briefly cover how to save our own brushes and share them with others. Prerequisite: Basic understanding of Photoshop and its interface. It's helpful if you don't freak out if a layer is used or content of a layer is masked. But a deep understanding of these concepts is not required to follow along. What to bring to the workshop You can simply come along, watch and listen. You can also team up with other members. However, if you prefer to actively participate, you need:
